Meet Our Dental Care Team
Tessa C.
A third-generation Durham native, Tessa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the UNC School of Dentistry. She joined Dr. Blaylock’s practice in 2001 and has over 24 years of experience in inpatient care. Tessa takes her patients’ oral health very seriously, but that doesn’t prevent laughter from emanating from the room when she is treating a patient.
She loves getting to know her patients and catching up with them during their appointments. Outside of the office, Tessa enjoys spending time with her young adult children, grilling out with family and friends, and golfing with her mom.
Robin K.
Robin, our Patient Experience Coordinator, is a Durham native and graduated from the UNC Dental Assisting Program in 1983 as a Certified Dental Assistant. She has worked in dentistry for almost 40 years in both general and orthodontic practices and began working with Dr. Blaylock and his team in 2014. Robin is proud of the quality of care our patients receive.
She has been married to Rod for 36 years and they have a daughter, Caitlin, and son-in-law, Bradley. She loves being “Bobbie” to her grandchildren, Lillie and Callum. Robin is very active in the Women’s and Outdoor Ministries at her church and enjoys pulling for the NC State Wolfpack.
She loves meeting our patients, creating our social media content, and is ready to help you with your scheduling, financial, and insurance needs.
Theresa C.
Originally from Michigan, Theresa graduated from Kalamazoo Community College and the UNC School of Dentistry with degrees in Dental Hygiene. She worked as the clinical coordinator with the Duke University geriatric dental clinic, and later as a dental hygienist with Dr. Blaylock.
Theresa moved with her husband, Marcel, and family to Arizona, Virginia, and California, earning a dental hygiene license in each state. Fortunately for Dr. Blaylock and his patients, she moved back to North Carolina and has been working in his office since 2007. Theresa enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling with her husband and two teenagers.
Kim A.
Kim is a native of Orange County. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Alamance Community College in 1993 and has over 30 years of experience in all areas of the dental field.
Kim has been married to Dennis for 30 years and they have two adult children with whom they enjoy spending time. She loves visiting their place in Morehead City where they play on the water island hopping and fishing. She also enjoys gardening and spoiling their furbabies!
Kim is Dr. Blaylock’s sidekick and endures all of his stories and jokes! She hasn’t met a stranger and has the gift of making patients feel comfortable and at ease when they visit!
